The Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller is one of the most advanced and intelligent trailer brake controllers on the market. Designed using the same technology that is used in missile guidance systems, Prodigy senses braking action and variances in terrain to provide consistent and reliable braking power for whatever or wherever you may be towing.
Installation is super simple. Many newer vehicles are pre-wired for a brake controller and will only need a double ended plug adapter (sold separately) that will plug into the back of the Prodigy on one end and into the vehicle slot on the other end. Once you're plugged in, just mount the support bracket and you are ready to tow! Other models that don't have pre-wired slots can easily be connected to the Prodigy using the installation and wiring diagram provided with the brake controller unit.
