The gas lifts will hold the cover assembly open like other one-piece hard lids, and, can be easily released and removed whenever you need full bed access for large cargo.
The FullTilt will also work like a traditional tarp style cover by releasing the tarp from the frame and rolling it forward to be secured at the front of the truck bed near the cab.
