The stainless steel bars are produced from 16 gauge, 304 aircraft grade stainless steel that is buffed to a high lustre which will never flake, peel, or rust. The black powder coat version is produced using heavy duty 16 gauge steel tubing that is immersed in a phosphorous chemical bath, hot-dip galvanized, electrostatically e-coated with primer, and finished off with a final application of semi-gloss black powdercoat. That's 4 layers of protection compared to most bars that are only one layer of powder coat.
